A Day In The Wild Life

The cicadas are singing and so are those three chipmunks, Simon, Alvin and Theodore. I am being tormented by these three little stinkers. I have been spending my spare time in the back yard watching and waiting for just one of those stinkers to come on this side of the fence. I know they will never see me hiding among the OARnaments.
I really am a master at blending in!

Every Day at the Spa is Different

Today I was chasing and pointing birds all day.
I was so tired.
Then Samantha came over and I had to get up from my afternoon snooze by the pond and give her some huggin. I hear there are 2 more grandkids.
I can't wait.
WOW. I sure like it here.
Water.
Birds.
An old man.
And now grandkids.
What is going to happen tomorrow.
My tail is starting to hurt from wagging it so much.
Don't ever wake me.
It has to be a dream.

Hard Work

I have a real important job at the spa.
It's my job to help keep my foster grampa secure on this bench while he reads.
That way he won't blow away.
I think I could do this all day if I have to.

Getting Settled

I am getting settled into my foster home and hey have you seen this yard? There is so much to do here I really lucked out. There is a pond! And I heard there are fish in there. Oh boy real fish!.. Hey birds eat fish.. I like birds.... Hmmm Do you see the pointing potential here. This is a setter dream yard.

A New Beginning

This sweet boy will officially be 2 years old 12-5-07 or so his papers say. Dan was surrendered to a local shelter by his owner after he failed to hunt after being subjected to poor training methods. A wonderful IBR volunteer has agreed to help Dan overcome his botched beginning and to help him start becoming the wonderful boy he was meant to be.
